Faro International Airport (in Portuguese: International Airport of Faro (IATA): FAO, ICAO: LPFR) is located in the city of Faro in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. It is the second most important in the country, only behind Portela Airport in Lisbon, and maintains a very high increase in travelers, especially thanks to low cost companies. To cope with this increase in traffic, the airport has been expanded and modernized in recent years.

In 2012, the airport had traffic of 5,672,377 passengers.
